Condition

Original canvas. There are what appear to be slight varnish stains scattered over the canvas, but mainly in a narrow streak near the signature and along the left side, visible under ultraviolet light. Apart from three pinholes to the bottom edge of the canvas, a very small spot of paint loss to the centre left edge and some scattered flecks of varnish, this work is in good overall condition. Held in a decorative, gold-painted moulded plaster and wood frame.
