  • three, all signed with monogram l.r., the second inscribed l.l.: Venice 191; the third dated l.r.: 1891/ 46
  • each watercolour over pencil with pen and black ink, the last with bodycolour
  • each 18 by 27 cm.; 7 by 10 1/2 in.

Condition

Each watercolour is in good condition. The colours in the first two works are bright and fresh. The last work is drawn onto grey paper and has more subtle colours. There is a small tear, located at the left edge of the sheet, this measures 1.3 cm and can only be seen on close inspection. The last two works have been laid down.
