Catalogue Note

A large collection of leaflets, proclamations, orders and newspapers, the majority from 1917-1919 and providing immediate responses to momentous events such as the abdication and arrest of Nicholas II (reported in the editions of Birgevye bedomsti and Petrogradskaya pravda respectively) and the death of Lenin (reported in Vestnik vremennogo pravitel'stva) as well as samples of the large number of regulations published constantly by the new regime.
