Catalogue Note

A handbook of magic, including incantations, charms and remedies for nosebleeds, toothache, the prevention of witchcraft in the stable, for meeting with one's enemy, putting out fire, and for 'the worm' (the latter charm not entirely efficacious, to judge from the condition of the volume).
