reporting to the city of Loja [in Granada] that François I is preparing to invade Spain; ensuring the favourable reception of the newly appointed Prior Don Diego de Toledo; permitting Gonzalo Perez Gallegos to exercise the office of Veinticuatro in Jerez de la Frontera; and renewing a royal order relating to the grant of land to Juan de Molina, servant of the King's sister Doña Leonor (the original document having been lost by Molina); 4 pages in all, folio (c.300 x 205mm.), one document with contemporary docketing and trace of seal, another with integral address panel, Toledo and Madrid, 30 April 1529 to 12 October 1537, some browning and ink corrosion affecting a few letters, minor tears with loss to a few words, light ink- and duststaining
