Catalogue Note
Konstantin Stanislavsky founded the Moscow Art Theatre with Nemirovich-Danchenko in 1898. A major tour of Europe, including Yugoslavia, and the United States, was undertaken in 1922-1924. Maria Kryzhanovskaya appeared in a number of films including in "Raskolnikow" in 1923.
