folio (290 x 195mm.), woodcut calligraphic initials, 111 woodcut illustrations (14 full-page, some repeated), contemporary blind-tooled calf over wooden boards, central panel composed of four vertical roll tools surrounded by fillets, outer roll-tooled border, two clasps, in modern cloth folding box, without final blank, a few wormholes in last few quires (affecting a few letters) and lower board, rebacked retaining small fragments of original spine, new endpapers, head of upper joint slightly cracked, lacking both straps, box worn
