(i) Abrasions along the top edge with scattered minor patches of paint loss overall. Cracking to the surface layer of paint in the left half of the canvas in the centre. Two holes through the canvas from nails in the stretcher, one on the left, the other on the bottom edge. Would benefit from professional restoration and reframing. (ii) Patches of cracking to the paint in the centre and inside from the left and right edges. The cracking has resulting in large patches of paint loss along the right edge. Would benefit from professional restoration and reframing.
