Condition
Condition:
This work is very good condition. Executed on a beige wove paper, laid down. The artist's pinholes are visible at the upper left and lower right corners and at the center of the two side edges. There are a few areas of craquelures where the black paint is thicker: 3 small areas (2 x 1 cm) at the center of the composition, two areas at the center of the side edges, a few spots of craquelures along the lower edge. There are two flattened creases: at the upper right and lower left corners and a small tear (5mm) perpendicular to the lower edge at the lower left corner.
Colors: The illustration in the catalogue is fairly accurate although the work is lighter and with more transparencies in the original.
