Condition

This work is in excellent condition overall. On each panel there are scattered tiny particulates of airborne dust and debris adhered to the varnish during execution. Overall the varnish application is uneven and slightly drippy patterns are occasionally faintly evident in the blue. On the 2nd panel in the lower right quadrant, there appear to be faint liquid accretions located 5/8 in. from the bottom and 3 ¾ - 4 in. from the right; 1 7/8 -2 1/8 in. from the bottom and 8 ½ - 8 ¼ in. from the right; 3 ¾ - 3 15/16 from the right and 9 1/8 x 9 ¼ in. from the bottom. Associated with this later accretion, there is a 2 in. x 3 ¼ in. very faint lighter area. The 5th panel has slight soiling to the center bottom edge. Examined under ultra-violet light, there are no apparent restorations. All five panels are mounted on white painted wood backings within Plexiglas boxes.
