Condition

Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate although there are more pink tones throughout the background in the original. The outline of the figure on the left is more forest green and less blue in the original. Condition: This work is in good condition. There is stable and sound craquelure throughout, most visible in the two top corners and lower right corner. There are vertical media accretions along the right centre edge. Close inspection reveals two clear media accretions towards the top left edge and one other towards the centre right. No restoration is apparent under ultra violet light.
