Condition
Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate although the tonality of the white is creamier in the original. The blues are brighter and more prominent in the lower left corner, to the left shoulder, in the lower right and to the figure's hair and chin. The brown is slightly warmer and has less black in the original. The catalogue illustration fails to fully convey the rich texture of the paint and dramatic impasto effect.
Condition: This work is in very good condition. No restoration is apparent under ultra violet light.
