This work appears in very good condition. There is a soft and unobtrusive undulation to the canvas in the center of the top edge. Otherwise, the surface is celan and the canvas is well stretched. There is no evidence of inpainting under UV light inspection. Framed.

In the mid-'90s, China was transforming very fast. Chinese officials started wearing suits and ties. Everybody wanted to look good, but it also looked a bit fake. I felt they wanted to change themselves on the surface, and these are the feelings that I represented in the... Mask series.
