This work appears in excellent condition. The paper has various marks and accretions which are inherent to the artist's working method. The sheet is hinged along the top and lower edges to an acid-free mat with rag tape. Framed under Plexiglas.

Catalogue Note
...the Butterfly Paintings.That's where my current interest lies. Perhaps some of the other work is not hard-edged and is closer to what would traditionally be considered expressive, but I'm not sure that it is literally more expressive... I think that way of working fits the thing I am making. The form follows function.
