Condition

This work is in very good condition. The canvas is slightly soiled and there are scattered accretions throughout the surface, the most prominent of which are a series of pinpoint accretions in the "R" of "Brother" located 6 ¼ in. from the left edge and 8 1/2 in. from the bottom edge. There is a series of vertical accretions located 9 1/2 in. from the the right edge and 4 in. from the top edge. There is a small area of paint loss located along the right edge, approximately 10 in. from the top edge. There is an unobtrusive scuff located 5 ¾ in. from the right edge and 7 ¼ in. from the bottom edge. There is some craquelure at the pull margins. There is no apparent evidence of restoration visible when examined under UV light. This work is framed.
