Condition
This work is in good condition overall. The surface is slightly soiled and there is evidence of wear and handling at the edges. The canvas is slightly loose on the stretcher. There is fine craquelure at the pull margins and scattered areas of craquelure throughout the surface particularly in the lower third of the composition and in the white painted areas. There is a series of vertical accretions located 4 ΒΌ in. from the right edge and 12 in. from the bottom edge. There is no apparent evidence of restoration visible under UV light inspection. This work is framed.
