Condition
This work appears in very good condition overall. There is scattered, stable craquelure in two areas located as follows: there is a 4 inch vertical area of craquelure located 11 ½ inches from the bottom edge and 35 inches from the right edge; there is a 15 inch oval-shaped area of concentric craquelure located 16 inches from the top edge and 11 inches from the left edge and which appears to be the result of previous impression in the painting. Additionally, there is a protrusion located 1 inch from the right edge along the top stretcher bar which is the result of a slight separation in the wood of the stretcher. There are a few scattered smudges located midway down the right edge of the painting. Under ultra violet light inspection, there is no evidence of inpainting. Framed.
