Condition

This work is in good condition overall. There is evidence of wear at the edges and some visible craquelure at the pull margins. The tonal nuances observable in the surface are inherent to the artist's working method. There are additional areas of fine and stable crescent shaped craquelure scattered throughout the composition including a circular area of cracking 5 ½ in. in diameter located approximately 5 ½ in. from the right edge and 17 in. from the bottom edge. There are faint pinpoint spots of accretion located 6 in. from the left edge and 11 ½ in. from the bottom edge. There is no apparent evidence of restoration visible when examined under UV light. Unframed.
