Condition

Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the glass colour is brighter and more nuanced in the original, with a wider range of greens showing through. The catalogue illustration fails to fully convey the three-dimensionality of the work and the rich texture of the wire. Condition: This work is in good condition. There is a dent (approximately 3 cm. long) to the glass in one of the yellow passages, approximately 30 cm. from the top. There is a scratch with associated media loss to one of the ridges (approximately 10 cm. long), 30 cm. from the bottom. There is some wear to the base of the work with associated small dents and media loss. There are some irregularities to the glass along the vertical edge, all consistent with the artist's working process. A number of fine scratches are visible upon close inspection to the work's surface throughout.
