Colours:
The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate although the paper tone is slightly warmer in the original work and the whites are brighter.
Condition:
This work is in very good condition. Securely attached to the backing mount in places to the reverse, all four edges of the sheet are deckled.There is slight discolouration around the areas of white paint. There is a small loss to the upper right corner tip and a line of green pen to the lower section of the extreme right edge, both of which appear to be original to the work's execution. There are several faint stains to the upper centre of the composition and a small rub mark adjacent to this. There is a further faint diagonal rub mark towards the upper left corner and several shallow moon-shaped creases towards the lower left corner. There is a small brown media accretion to the lower right corner and one 10cm to the left of this.
