Condition

Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality of the original is richer and more vibrant. Condition: This work is in good condition. There are tiny artist's pinholes in the extreme corners, as well as scattered in places along the edges. There is a tear (approximately 3cm. long) to the inner corners of the upper left and right corners of the paper mount. There are some thin creases throughout, notably in line with the figure's neck and waist. There is a further crease running diagonally from the upper right corner. There is general wear and discolouration to the paper. There is an ochre-coloured stain to the green passage approximately 5cm. above the letter "L" and tape in the upper left and lower two corners of the composition.
