Condition
Colour:
The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although they are slightly deeper and richer in the original.
Condition:
This work is in good condition. There is some cotton residue adhering to the top extreme edge. There is a pattern of very thinly applied paint to the upper turnover edge. Examination under ultra-violet light reveals a vertical line of retouching running parallel to the left edge, a horizontal line towards the centre of the bottom edge with a further small spot beneath it. There are two further small spots of retouching towards the left and one towards the right of the top extreme edge and a very small area towards the bottom of the extreme right edge, all of which fluoresce under ultraviolet light.
