Condition

Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is brighter and more vibrant in the original. Condition: This work is in very good condition. There is extremely light wear to all four corner tips and hairline tension cracks running in places along the overturn edges. There are networks of drying cracks scattered in places throughout the composition, most notably but not exclusively to the yellow paint, where there is some associated paint loss and lifting. There is loss to some of the impasto peaks in places scattered throughout the composition. No restoration is visible under ultra-violet light.
