Condition

Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is deeper and richer in the original. Condition: This work is in very good condition. The rust, dust and dirt on the car horns is original to the work's execution, as are the handling and rub marks inside the case and to the inside of the plexiglass. There is a light layer of surface dust on the wooden case and some light wear to its corner tips and extreme edges as well as some nicks and scratches, scattered in some places. There is a minor surface imperfection to the centre of the upper right-hand quadrant of the plexiglass and the top adjoining edge of the frame is slightly loose.
