Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate although the overall tonality is brighter and more vibrant with less yellow to the skin tone. Condition: These works are in very good condition. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultra-violet light. (i) There is minor wear to the bottom left and right corners. There are two very fine vertical hairline cracks running along the extreme right turnover edge: one towards the upper right hand corner, and one to the centre of the right edge. There are two minor unobtrusive pencil marks to the composition: one to the upper centre of the right edge, and one towards the upper left hand corner. (ii) There is a tiny spot of wear to the extreme upper left hand corner. In places along the extreme right turnover edge, there are some minor tension cracks approximately 4 cm from the centre of the right hand edge, there is a very fine unobtrusive vertical hairline crack, approximately 5 cm long. (iii) There is minor wear to all four extreme corner tips. There is a very fine vertical hairline crack, approximately 12 cm long, running along the lower right edge.
