Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the background tends slightly more towards ivory and the overall tonality is warmer in the original. Condition: This work is in very good condition. There is minor wear to all four corner tips and some minor handling marks along the right and left edges. There is a light finger print to the centre of the extreme top edge. On very close examination there are isolated matrices of very fine and stable drying cracks along the left edges. There is a very fine hairline crack to the left of the central body of text. There are two faint rub marks to the composition: one to the left centre of the upper left quadrant and one to the centre of the left edge. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultra-violet light.
