Condition
Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is deeper and richer in the original.
Condition: This work is in very good condition. Examination under ultra-violet light reveals a horizontal line of retouching to the bright yellow pigment to the upper centre of the composition, and a few small further spots of retouching to the right of the composition. There are a few small media accretions around the white border of the composition that fluoresce under ultra-violet light.
