Catalogue Note

Martin Creed first exhibited at the ICA in 1999 in Nerve, curated by
Nerve Systems. He has also taken part in the ICA exhibitions Artists'
Favourites, 2004 (for which he was selected by Maurizio Cattelan) and Surprise Surprise, 2006.
Creed has donated Work no. 75, 2007, a film shot by a camera
zooming in and out on the naked backside of a man. It is one of a number of films on bodily themes that the artist has made in
recent years, and is reminiscent of Yoko Ono's classic Film No.4 (in
Taking the Bottoms of 365 Saints of Our Time)
, which premiered at the ICA in 1968.
