Catalogue Note

Jenny Holzer has had two solo exhibitions at the ICA – Essays:
Survival Series
, 1983, and Jenny Holzer: Signs, 1988-89. In more recent years the artist featured in EXTRA ART: A Survey of Artists' Ephemera from 1960-1999, 2003.

For the ICA's 60th anniversary auction Holzer has selected three LED 'corner' pieces, two in blue and one in white, featuring her texts
Mother and Child (1990), Erlauf (1995), Arno (1996) and Blue (1998).
