The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate although the overall tonality is slightly softer in the original.
Condition:
This work is in very good condition. There is light wear and faint rub marks in places along all four edges. There is a finger mark 10cm. above the lower left corner. There are three faint rub marks towards the upper left corner. There are two fly spots above the figure's lip and several further fly spots to the upper centre of the lower left quadrant. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultra-violet light.
