Condition
Colours: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate although the overall tonality is brighter and more vibrant in the original work where the stripes tend more towards ochre.
Condition: This work is in very good condition. There is minor wear with associated paint loss in the top left corner tip. There is a small media accretion adhering to the surface towards the centre left of the top right hand quadrant. There is a tiny media irregularity to the centre above the fireplace. Several dust fibres and small hairs adhere to the surface in places. All other small imperfections are inherent to the artist's working process. No restoration is apparent under ultra-violet light.
