Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is slightly warmer with the paper tone tending more towards cream in the original. Condition: This work is in very good condition and the vertical edges are deckled. The sheet is hinged to the backing mount by the top left and right hand corners and is very slightly undulated. Close examination reveals two flattened fine creases, one to the lower left corner, and the other to the top left corner. The lower left extreme corner tip is bending inwards slightly. A further very light diagonal crease in the upper left quadrant is visible in raking light and there are a few tiny minute nicks to the lower extreme edge. There are two tiny pale media accretions above and to the right of the signature in the lower right quadrant and a small patch of very pale discolouration the right of the date, visible in the catalogue illustration.
