Condition

Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate though the overall tonality is richer in the original. Condition: This work is in good condition. There is minor wear to all four corners and extreme edges with intermittent tiny spots of paint loss. There are several faint and stable cracks to the top right and lower left hand corners and at intervals throughout the composition, only visible upon close inspection. There are very faint spots of blooming throughout the composition, characteristic to the artist's specific choice of media and are visible in the catalogue illustration. There are two small red media accretions to the centre of the right hand edge, possibly intrinsic to production. No restoration is apparent under UV light.
