Condition

Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate though the overall tonality of the paper is warmer and richer in the original. Condition: This work is in very good condition. There are tiny artist's pinholes at all four corners of the card and very faint wear to all four corner tips. The sheet shows signs of very faint discolouration, probably caused by ageing and particularly beneath the areas of tape. There are several very tiny spots of media accretion to the taped area at the top horizontal edge of the lower left hand quadrant and several further minute spots below the lower left hand corner of the central section of the composition. There is a very slight undulation to the photographic sheet. There is a very faint flattened crease to the top edge 5cm from the upper right hand corner and four very faint lifts to the sheet at the extreme right edge towards the lower right hand corner. Held in a plexiglass box frame that shows several tiny rub marks at intervals throughout.
