Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate though the yellow tends more towards ochre in the original. Condition: This work is in very good condition. The sheet is hinged to the mount at the top two corners and the left extreme edge is perforated, original to the artist's choice of media. There are narrow traces of extremely pale discolouration to each extreme edge and the sheet is very slightly undulated throughout. On the lower part of the right extreme edge there is a tiny media accretion and a very light thumbprint above, possibly the artist's (both beneath the mount). There are two spots of artist's smudging to the centre of the left edge, and a faint trace of pencil residue, possibly from the mount window, directly beneath the signature on the lower edge. On close examination there is a pinprick sized pigment speck to the centre of the right edge and a tiny spot of surface dirt just above the centre on the right extreme edge.
