Condition

The canvas is unlined and undulating upper left . There is scattered craquelure and a small spot of paint loss 1/3 of the way up the left hand edge. The frame has also rubbed the upper left corner in the past. Examination under ultra-violet light reveals a few small spots of retouching: in the snow lower left, above the tree at the left, in the upper left corner and near the upper right corner. Held in a semi-decorative gilt frame with some losses to the gilt.
