Condition
A Venetian Backwater; Original canvas has been restretched. Some spots of surface dirt, but otherwise in good original condition. Ultraviolet light reveals one small patch of retouching to the skyline, and a minor scattering of cosmetic retouching elsewhere. Held in a decorative. gold-painted, composite frame.
A Venetian Canal; Original canvas has been restretched. Two minor and very light vertical surface scratches below the upper edge. Some patches of surface dirt, most noticable to the skyline, otherwise in good original condition. Ultraviolet light reveals an uneven varinsh and a small scattering of retouching. Held in a decorative. gold-painted, composite frame.
