Condition

Original canvas. There is an even distribution of craquelure and some slight paint separation and visible stretcher marks, mainly to the left and right sides. Ultraviolet light reveals retouching mainly to the sky at the left, top and right edges, and scattered retouching elsewhere, partially obscured by varnish. Held in a heavy, decorative gold-painted composite frame.
