Condition

Original canvas has been restretched and is sound. Some frame abrasion to the left, right and lower edges. Some paint rubbing to the lower right corner. Craquelure throughout, but otherwise in good original condition and ready to hang. Ultraviolet light reveals a small scattering of retouching, to the rabbit's eye and one smaller patch to the figures dress. Held in a decorative, gilt, moulded plaster and wood frame.
