Edition originale excessivement rare de cet éphéméride composé comme un mémorandum par l'imprimeur Jean d'Ongoys, de la région de Saint-Omer, libraire à Paris de 1573 à 1579. Les faits sont classés selon la date du jour où ils se sont produits, certains jours ne portant pas de texte.
12 bois sont placés en tête des mois, signés de la marque typographique simplifiée des Marnef.
Une deuxième édition fut publiée en 1579.
La Bibliothèque nationale de France possède un exemplaire seulement de l'ouvrage, mutilé et sans titre. Brun ne cite qu'un exemplaire, de la collection Masson.
Exemplaire remarquablement grand de marges, avec de nombreux témoins.
