Condition

Colour: The colours are fairly accurate in the catalogue illustration. The illustration fails to convey the green hue present in the scattered patches. There are 4 discs to each frame that are not illustrated in the catalogue. (i) There are very light surface scratches scattered in places throughout the frame and a vertical groove in the wood towards the bottom right hand corner of the frame which appears to be original to the work's execution. There are scratches to the print in places throughout, which appear to be original to the work's execution. (ii) There are surface irregularities to the upper section of the left side of the frame, original to the work's execution. There is a small piece of loss to the wood on the inside of the frame towards the lower left hand corner. (iii) There are very light scratches in places throughout the frame and some light rub marks predominantly towards the bottom right hand and top left hand corners of the frame. There are gaps in the wood frame where the edges are joined. All of the above is original to the work's execution.
