Description
- A Greek Bronze Mirror
- Diameter 3 1/2 in. 8.9 cm.
decorated in applied repoussé relief with the frontal head of a woman, her face with full bow-shaped lips and wide-set eyes with incised irises and dotted pupils, her finely engraved wavy hair parted in the center, swept to the sides in long unruly locks, and falling in undulating curls along the sides of the neck.

Condition
edges of applique are brittle (several strands of hair have broken off), applique itself is reinforced with plaster at the back, note areas of corrosion on face and abrasion on nose, remains of gilding on proper left side of hair, applique is entirely separate from mirror itself, which probably does not belong
