  • Height 13 3/4 in. 34.9 cm.
striding with his left leg forward and raising his right arm, and wearing a goat skin falling from his missing left shoulder, drilled curly hair over most of his body.

American private collection, acquired in Greece in the early 1960s
acquired by the present owner in 1996

Condition

fragmentary as shown, half of neck and proper left shoulder missing, surface somewhat weathered but still retains much engraved hair detail, note fresh scratches across abodmen, hip, and side of thigh, large shallow chip against left side of proper left leg is where support would have been
