- A Bronze Appliqué Bust of a Goddess, Roman Imperial
- Height 5 3/4 in. 14.6 cm.
wearing a chiton, her face with full lips, straight nose, and eyes with incised irises and dotted upils, her centrally-parted wavy hair bound in a diadem, and tied in a top knot, twin symmetrical curls falling over the forehead.

very good, possible minor scattered patches of shoe polish or black pigment applied presumably to unify patina in places, remains of a broken tenon(?) at back of head behind top-knot

The concave back suggests that the present bust functioned as an applique or handle plate for a large vessel.
