- A Faience Vase
- Height 8 3/4 in. 22.2 cm.
glazed in deep aubergine on the exterior and in turquoise on the underside, interior, and top of the rim, with foot in two degrees, stepped shoulder, wide neck, broad flat rim, and twin flat handles, the turquoise-glazed petal or leafage ornament on the body in applied relief.

Condition
Good for an object of this type, bottom of vessel broke off and was reattached, approximately three missing fragments near the foot were restored, the largest one 2 by 1.5 inches, five-inch long segment of wreath restored in painted plaster below left handle (in photo), handles repaired, several repairs on the neck with overpainting along the joins, glaze abraded along 1/4 of foot, one area with remains of old restoration
