each composed of clay and natural pigments, painted with an avanyu serpent design against the highly polished ground, signed on the base: "Marie and Julian." Maria Martinez (1887-1980) and Julian Martinez (1885-1943).
Condition
One is in very good original condition with minor wear consistent with its age and nearly gunmetal finish. The other has a hairline crack on the slip, and typical wear.
