Description
- Length: 57.5 cm
carved in hardwood of leaf-like form and plano-convex section, the front decorated with a traditional double-crossed motif in black surrounded by white pigment, the reverse undecorated with inset, bent cane handle

Condition
There are small areas of timber (V-shaped chips) missing to the rare shield on the lower end. There are minor areas of pigment loss and two holes in the middle of the lower central cross band. There are no areas of visible repair or restoration.
