Condition

The bark is slightly curved and has suffered some areas of pigment loss, the worst being small areas of white pigment on the bark surface. There is a split stick bound across the top of the painting and a screw is embedded on the top right hand corner to hold it together. There is a fine crack in the surface in the top right hand register approximately 12 cm in from the upper corner and extending 33 cm down, There two further cracks to the central region of the bark, one 28 cm long and the other 10cm long. There is fraying and bark missing from the lower corners and other scuffs along the lower margins
