- Length: 84.3 cm
carved in hardwood of lozenge section, the front replete with engraved traditional linear motifs divided into five sections by cross bands with a repetitive pecked motif, the reverse undecorated with small areas of inset damage and evidence of extensive use and deep-cut lug handle, old, shiny patina

There are no visible repairs or restoration to the narrow shield. There are many areas of wear to the timber in the surface possible from rubbing or insect damage, which should be clearly evident in the catalogue and online illustrations.
