Condition

Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is slightly softer in the original. The catalogue illustration fails to fully convey the luminescence granted to the work by the use of the light box. Condition: This work is in very good condition. There is some very light wear to the four extreme corner tips. The print is slightly lifting in the lower left quadrant along the bottom extreme edge, approximately 20cm. to the right of the bottom left extreme corner tip.

Catalogue Note

The subject of the present work Untitled ( Mollino, Agitato) is the impressive chandelier designed by Carlo Mollino for the Regio Theatre in Turin. It is composed of one thousand and nine hundred Perspex tubes, arranged around one thousand seven hundred and sixty two aluminium tubes, each terminating in a forty watt lamp. The stunning construction is here metamorphosed by the artist into an indefinite form, an intermittent stream of light rendered with increased intensity via the lightbox medium.
